A team of archaeologists from MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) have announced the discovery of a Roman mosaic, one of the largest preserved mosaics discovered in London for over 50 years.
Londinium is the name given to the Roman city, now occupied by the City of London that contains the historic centre and the primary central business district of London.
A unique Roman stylus, with the most elaborate and expressive inscription of its kind, is set to go on display for the first time in a new exhibition at the Ashmolean: Last Supper in Pompeii.
